REQUIREMENTS FOR TRAINING
If you want to carry out tests on a class 5 vehicle, you must already be qualified to test Class 4 & 7 vehicles.
You will then need to complete additional training specific to testing class 5 vehicles, take an on-line assessment and then undertake a DVSA Class 5 MOT demonstration test.
BACKGROUND
This course trains current Class 4 & 7 MOT testers to be able to test Class 5 private passenger vehicles, ambulances, motor caravans and dual purpose vehicles.
You will then need to complete additional training specific to testing class 5 vehicles, take an on-line assessment and then undertake a DVSA Class 5 MOT demonstration test.
This training course meets this DVSA requirement and prepares you for your DVSA practical assessment.
